Xiaomi and OnePlus are considered to be the most radiated smartphone models available in market. This was revealed in a research conducted by the German Federal Office for Radiation Protection (Bundesamt für Strahlenschutz).

Any smartphone’s at or below these SAR levels is a “safe” phone, as the measured by these standards. The FCC limit for public exposure from cellular telephones is an SAR level of 1.6 watts per kilogram (1.6 W/kg)

According to the top 10 list of most radiated smartphones, compiled by Statista, based on the data provided by the German body, Samsung phones are also found to lead the range of least radiation level models

Particularly, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and ZTE Axon Elite have emerged as the lowest radiation emitting phones with a specific absorption rate (SAR) of 0.17 watts per kilogram. and you want to check the details also in telecom department portal

The Top 10 Radiation Emitting Smartphone:

  1. Xiaomi Mi A1: Xiaomi’s Mi A1 sits on the top for radiation emission with a specific absorption rate of 1.75 watts per kilogram. Launched in September 2017, its current price is Rs. 9,699
  2. OnePlus 5T: The OnePlus 5T comes second. It has an absorption rate of 1.68 watts per kilogram. Launched in November 2017 and currently with a starting price of Rs. 32,999
  3. Xiaomi Mi Max 3: In third position sits Xiaomi Mi Max 3 with the specific absorption rate of 1.58 watts per kilogram. Launched in July 2018 with a starting price of Rs. 17,500,
  4. OnePlus 6T: The phone has an absorption rate of 1.55 watts per kilogram. Launched in November 2018 with prices starting at Rs.37,999
  5. HTC U12 Life: HTC U12 Life has an absorption rate of 1.48 watts per kilogram. Launched in August 2018 and its current price starts at Rs.27,999.
  6. Xiaomi Mi Mix 3: Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 has an absorption rate of 1.45 watts per kilogram. Launched in October 2018 with prices starting at Rs.34,800
  7. Google Pixel 3 XL: The Pixel 3 XL 000 has an absorption rate of 1.39 watts per kilogram. Launched in October 2018 with starting price at Rs.83,000
  8. OnePlus 5: The phone has an absorption rate of 1.39 watts per kilogram. Launched in June 2017 with a current price of Rs.32,999
  9. IPhone 7: iPhone 7 has an absorption rate of 1.38 watts per kilogram. Launched in September 2016 with prices starting at Rs.28,799
  10. Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact: The phone has an absorption rate of 1.36 watts per kilogram. Launched in August 2017 with prices starting at Rs.40,000

From the results the Samsung’s any mobiles not comes with the list and the galaxy note 8 get the lowest (SAR) value in the smartphone world. India’s no.1 selling smartphone brand is SAMSUNG in every year but this year Xiaomi get the no.1 position.

But from the results the xiaomi mobiles got the top level radiation  emitting smartphone ever and it may affect the sells of the xiaomi radiation smartphones in the market, so xiaomi need to fix this issues for the upcoming models.
